About this project

iframetest.dev is an independent developer utility for testing embedded pages, understanding response headers, and generating iframe HTML. It is not affiliated with the websites you preview.

What happens to a URL?

The tester and header checker send the URL you submit to our server so it can request the public page’s headers. That request goes to the target website and any redirect destinations. The code generator generates its HTML in your browser, but its live preview still loads the target website.

We do not maintain a submitted-URL database or save your test history in this application. Hosting infrastructure may process operational logs and network information. Avoid entering confidential URLs, tokens, or private information.

Third-party previews

Previewed content loads directly from the original website. That website can see your IP address and may use cookies or other browser features subject to your browser settings and the chosen sandbox. Third-party sites have their own privacy practices. This tool does not copy or host their content.

Cookies and analytics

We use Pirsch Analytics to measure site usage. The application does not include advertising, account cookies, or persistent test history. Third-party iframe content is separate and may behave differently.

Limits of the result

Header checks inspect a public response at a moment in time. They do not guarantee browser behavior, legal permission to reuse content, or the security of an embedded page. The tool respects the target’s framing restrictions.
